I love this — the story, your experience, the whole bit. And it was wonderful that they let the understudies have a performance. Ben made his Broadway debut in "Ragtime" without a put in (if you can believe it), but he had watched the show so many times that he knew it inside and out. I can only imagine how it must have felt for the cast of understudies to get to do it at least that one time. Very special.
Hello dear Glenn! I remember hearing how Ben went on like the pro he was already becoming! Some of my favorite Kennedy Center memories are frolicking with him and Sarah on the rooftop when they needed a little break from the Ragtime intensity. How far he has come! My AU students are obsessed.
